Crews battle fire on balcony at high-rise building in Edgewater

Crews battled a fire on a balcony at a high-rise apartment building in Edgewater early Friday. The fire broke out at the Bay Parc apartments in the 1700 block of North Bayshore Drive. Cell phone video taken from an apartment above showed the flames and smoke on the balcony. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. It was unknown if there were any injuries. NBC6 has reached out to Miami Fire Rescue for more information on what may have caused the fire.
